Between now and about Feb. 15, depending on weather conditions, the Barnum Park Outdoor Ice Rink will be open for ice skating. Because this is a trial period lasting about one year for this non-refrigerated ice rink, the City of Birmingham welcomes any and all comments from visitors concerning the facilities. Depending on the responses, it will then be determined whether or not this will become a permanent thing.
