I'd like to Thank George W. Bush

for making me more patriotic. See if it weren't for him displaying such contempt for the Bill of Rights and the Constitution, I don't think I would have fully appreciated what they stand for. I would have continued to take those documents for granted.

I'd like to thank George W. Bush, for making me appreciate the necessity of the Geneva Conventions. If it weren't for Abu Ghraib and Gonzales "torture memo," I would have never read the principals of the Geneva Conventions. I wouldn't have asked the question, how we take the moral high ground if we allow ourselves to be on the same level with the people we are fighting against?

I 'd like to thank George W. Bush, for invading Iraq. If he didn't waste time, lives and money in Iraq, I wouldn't have been motivated to read about the different factions in Iraq. I wouldn't have found out that the conflict between the factions is a religious conflict that dates back to 656. "Islam divides into two main sects - Sunnis (followers of the Sunna, or traditions: 85-90 per cent) and Shias (followers of the Shiat Ali, or "Party of Ali).

I'd like to thank George W. Bush, for making me appreciate the press. The press is supposed to be the eyes, ears and the voice of the American people. Instead they've become dictation experts for this corrupt administration. What happened to asking tough questions, using commonsense, looking at things from their own point of view without being intimated by these thugs in the White House.

I'd like to thank George W. Bush, for making me appreciate presidents who came before him. By far he has done more damage to our democracy than a couple of lowlifes with bombs could ever do. He has tainted the principles of America, what we were founded on, the values that have been instilled in us as Americans. Those values and principles are what separates us from the people we are fighting against.

I'd like to thank George W. Bush, for making me hope. My hope is that the American people will be vigilant, but not paranoid, patriotic, but still question their government.

Great Article. Now I hope everyone realizes that John McCain means 4 more years of George W. Bush. It is unthinkable to vote for John McCain. UNTHINKABLE!
