I'd Love to See Me as You See Me
Cry in the Wilderness Poetry & Prose Series Volume 2 Created by Debbie Dunn
Cry in the Wilderness Poetry & Prose Series written in 1977: Even though I was a sophomore in college, I still had so much learning and growing to do. Poetry helped me clarify what I was feeling and comfort and consoled me when life got confusing or hard.
I'd Love To See Me As You See Me
I'd love to see me as you see me.
I don't believe you see the same thing
As I do when I look in the mirror.
Sometimes it comes as quite a shock
Seeing the look in your eyes and feeling beautiful
And then coming back to reality
And seeing me as I am.
