Post a CommentWe hired Palais Royale for our June 2009 wedding reception. My husband and I both work in client service-oriented professions. I would not recommend this location to another couple as we were disappointed with the service and value received overall. Day-of-event service was good, but it did not make up for over a year of dealing with an uncooperative venue. We were forced to accept a 17% increase in our food and beverage budget when they inflated the menu pricing twice over the 16 months we dealt with them. We received nothing in exchange for our disappointment and were treated just like any other client. If you want to work with a vendor that is invested in your event, look elsewhere. There are plenty of other nice venues to choose from! In all, our time and expenses would have been better allocated to a venue that needed more decorations to beautify it, rather than dealing with the high prices and poor service at Palais. You can achieve more for the same amount of money elsewhere.
