Ideas for Decorating a Girl's Bedroom in a Pageant Theme

Girls love pageants, even those that do not actively participate. Countless people have become more aware of pageants through television reality shows, and it is turning into a decorating trend. It is a glitzy subject that offers many unique decorating possibilities, and it is a design theme that I have been asked to complete for a few new clients. One thing that I stress to my clients when planning the design scheme of their home is the importance of avoiding stereotyped decorating. Design the silhouette of a princess crown using craft store gems, or simply cover the entire surface with faux jewels if the headboard is already shaped like a crown. It can look magnificent.

I created a bed with a pageant theme for a client's daughter's bedroom, and I used an existing wooden headboard. I drew the outline of a large crown in the center of the headboard, and I attached a combination of glass gems and Swarovski crystals to create the jeweled work of art. The results were stunning, especially when the design was illuminated by light. It was beautiful, and it greatly added to the pageant theme of the girl's bedroom.
