Ideas to Earn Money from Home

T.C.
Almost every mom would love to be able to stay home and watch her children grow up and experience life, but in today's world it usually takes 2 incomes to make it through the month. Even if you already stay home or you just need a little extra cash, here are a few ideas that will hopefully help out.

EBay
Everyone knows that this is the place to sell your old stuff and this is where people usually search first when making an internet purchase, or at least I do. I absolutely love EBay because you can find almost anything here. What I would give to be the genius behind the website! But never the less, I am simply a loyal user.

I go through my house and de-clutter often. I hate when you feel like you are trapped in with junk. What I have done is started a box that I keep in my storage room that I fill with things I want to get rid of. I will list the items with the most potential to sell on EBay and then once a year, I take the leftovers and have a yard sale (by this time there is definitely more than one box). I do this in the spring and use the proceeds to buy my flowers and what not for the yard.

Jewelry
I have worked in a traditional setting before, and I have found that most women who do like to have accessories. Working in a bank with all women, many local jewelry vendors would come in from time to time and most of the ladies I worked with would buy something! This got me thinking. It is not that difficult to make jewelry nor is it expensive. If you can get away with pricing items under $15 people will generally buy them and if they don't you can wear it!

Become a Sales Consultant
There are so many opportunities to become a consultant for companies like Lia Sophia, Scentsy or Discovery Toys. Find a company that you like to buy things from and that you know people who would buy from you and start. This route will require an investment, usually under a couple hundred dollars, but if you are motivated to make it work, you can usually see that money back in no time. The plus to this is that other people do the work for you. Whoever is hosting the party does the food, refreshments and provides the place, you simply show up with your items and show the guests a good time.

You can always Write
Writing articles is not a bad gig. I do it in my spare time for Associated Content. There are other sites that you can write for too, all you have to do is find a site you are comfortable with and have at it! Many times you are paid for what you write and how many people look at it. It is a great way to make a little extra, plus most of your articles will stay up for a long time, meaning you will continue to make money off them.

Cleaning Services
Many people hate to clean anything. If you don't mind it and would like to make money from the people who do, it is a great idea. Take an add out in your local paper. Offer cleaning services, gardening services or caretaking services. You can set your own hours, set your own price and make a little extra on the side.

The ideas that I have listed are only a starting point. Some people will pay for anything, all you have to do is come up with something they want or need. I do the things listed above because I enjoy having a little time to do things for me. I do not work full time, nor do I make what a full time employee would. However, I make some money to put aside for a rainy day or a shopping trip and I still get to be a major part of my daughters and husbands lives.

Great ideas...I am a distributor at ADVOCAREPERFORMS dot COM...that is a significant source of work at home money for me; but also I have found a local "yard sale" type site that allows you to post a certain number of items for sale at no cost! It beats paying those eBay fees for things that may be more cost effective to sell and deliver locally.
