Looking for a unique gift from Michigan? Whether it's for a relative or a friend, it's tough to find that special gift that is useful and means something. It's even harder if you're looking for a gift that reflects a specific place. But thanks to the Internet, it is easier than ever before to find Michigan gifts. Here are some ideas of places to look for a special gift that reflects Michigan.

This site offers gift baskets with a Michigan flair. A featured item is the "Tastes of Michigan Basket." Each end of the basket is in the mitten shape of Michigan's Lower Peninsula. It includes goodies such as chocolate caramel popcorn, blueberry preserves, Sanders hot fudge sauce, cherry wafer crackers, dried cherries, chocolate covered raisins, cherry sour gum drops, and instant Fireside coffee.

This site offers a wide variety of made-in-Michigan products, ranging from the unique Petoskey stone (Michigan's state stone) to hand-blown glass, foods, pottery, woodware, books and apparel. If you want to get something for the kitchen, you could go for the campfire mug, wine glasses or etched glassware. For children, there are Michigan bears and a Great Lakes Lighthouse Puzzle.
