Go to the gym. Exercise is always a great thing to do. It allows you to take care of your body and stay healthy. Your local gym is almost sure to be close to empty on Super Bowl Sunday. To begin, gyms are usually slow on Sunday. Combine this with the fact that many people will be making their last run to buy snacks and watching all the pre-game, and this time seems great for making your way to the gym. You can use this time to go to your gym and workout in peace with little distraction and with no crowd. If your gym has a TV(and most do) you can even check out the game while you work out.
Catch a Movie. It seems like everytime you go to the movies you have to deal with long lines and huge crowds. This won't be the case if you head to the movies on Super Bowl Sunday. Your likely to see only the theater employees if you show up close to game time. If you don't care about the game, why not catch a great movie during this time. There will be several new titles out this year including, Rambo, Cloverfield, 27 Dresses, Mad Money, and How She Move. So head to the theater of Super Bowl Sunday, you might just be the only one in the theater.
Get your shopping done. What better time to do shopping than during the Super Bowl. Weather you are picking up groceries for the family, buying clothes and shoes, or getting ready for valentines day, using Super Bowl Sunday to do your shopping is an awesome idea. Make sure to avoid shopping during the last couple of hours before the game comes on, as there are sure to be crowds. Shop after the game has started and avoid lines, crowds and noise.
Get a bite to eat. The Super Bowl could be a great time to grab a bite to eat. Of course again, timing is essential. Once the game has started you should be safe, but the last couple of hours before could be a busy time for restaurants. Furthermore, you might want to avoid pizza places as they will be 'hopping' with business during this time. An evening out at a restaurant might be a great choice for your Super Sunday if you choose the right place.
Super Bowl Sunday doesn't have to be a drag for non-football fans. There are several things you can do to occupy your time while the majority of the world watches the big game. Take advantage of the fact that many people will not be out during this big time in our country.
