"T.G.I.F.!" It means so many different things to different people. These ideas for romantic Friday dates may not be unique or unusual but you can put your own spin on the standard activities. Take turns figuring how to plan romance on Friday with your significant other, alternating weeks on who gets to take the reigns of the night.

Start the Day With Love
Put a note in your lover's briefcase sharing how much you are looking forward to a night with her. Include a small clue to what might be in store. For example, a folded napkin if you got reservations at her favorite restaurant or box of candy if you planned a night at the cinema. Even if she guesses right away, she'll be looking forward to her romantic Friday date all day.

Keep the Momentum Going
When planning romance on Friday, text or email little messages throughout the day to keep her mind on the fun that's in store. Just a small "I Love You", "I'm Thinking About You" or more sensual notes add to the excitement. If she still hasn't figured out what you're going to be doing, like when you have elaborate plans in store, keep sending clues throughout the day to peak her curiosity even more.

Finish it Off in Style
Have a bouquet of her favorite flowers waiting on the reserved table at the restaurant or give her a movie memorabilia gift when you reach the theater to see something she has been waiting to be released. To plan romance on Friday, the activities do not have to be unique if you add a special extra touch to the evening. Other tips include to have a romantic bottle of wine waiting on the table and a homemade dessert in the fridge for when you get home or a new piece of lingerie wrapped up on the bed.

Ideas for romantic dates on Friday can be at the typical places that you both usually enjoy. Just put a personal spin on them every time so that there is always a surprise in store for one another.
