Ideas for Romantic Tuesday Dates

Tips for How to Plan Romance on a Tuesday

Rosallee Scott
The second morning that you have to get up and go to work doesn't have to be all bad. All you need are some ideas for romantic Tuesday dates to put the "two" back into the day. These tips for how to plan romance on Tuesday will surprise your lover with how bonding a night in front of the TV can be.

The Activities
"NBC", "CBS", "BravoTV"...with all the stations that have a prime-time lineup this night, you are sure to find a new favorite. Get sucked in, and addicted, as a couple to "your show" and it becomes a weekly date night that you never considered. If you find one that is already a few seasons in, rent the prior ones to catch up and you instantly have private marathon nights to spend in bed together. Most can be found at your favorite video store or even online at places such as NetFlix.

The Menu
Instead of wasting time with stopping for takeout, (you have to get home in time for the show to start after all) order delivery for romantic Tuesday dates. "Domino's", for example, have a "Two Times Tuesday" deal pretty much nationwide where you buy one pizza and get another of equal or lesser value for free. This not only is great for supper but makes a perfect late night snack or breakfast for the next morning.

The Accessories
Planning romance on a Tuesday involves some candlelight and floor cushions around the coffee table in front of the TV. Turn all the lights down low, light the candles and enjoy a night just being together without having to talk. If the show sparks up a conversation afterwards, all the better. Don't forget a blanket for two if you move up to the couch to cuddle after eating.

These ideas for romantic Tuesday nights can be tailored to each couple. Just like having "a song" that is a part of your relationship, having "a show" that you share can also be a very bonding experience.
