Ideas for Using Hydrogen Peroxide

We all are aware that Hydrogen Peroxide or scientifically known as H2O2, whether High or Low grade, is used as a substance commonly used as bleach. However, only a few of us know that there are other ways of using this product. Hydrogen peroxide may be used in numerous ways and in this article, we are going to take a look at some of the ways it can be used.

It not only can be used in removing stains from your clothes, but can be beneficial elsewhere. Because hydrogen peroxide is generally germicidal, meaning it kills germs and bad bacteria, uses vary from the kitchen to gardening and healing to cleansing. This substance is so versatile that it is incredible to see, and know what these multiple purposes are. It's most advisable to use food grade hydrogen peroxide. So, let's take a look at what you can do with this substance.

In the Kitchen

Using 3% hydrogen peroxide in a spray bottle and spraying this on windows, toilets, walls, and countertops will clean them well. Just spray it on the surface and leave it to set for a few minutes then wipe it off as you normally would with other cleansing products. Any concentrations higher than 3% may be considered as a bleaching agent. So unless you are removing stains, stick with 3% hydrogen peroxide.

In the Garden

You can use hydrogen peroxide mixed with water to cure sick plants and dying plants, to remove and control molds and mildew in a green house, prevents root rotting and boost the growth of a plant. Again, using 3% mixed or diluted in water can help save your garden.

As a Cure

Hydrogen peroxide can also be used to relieve sore throat and tooth aches. Basically, using a capful of 3% Hydrogen Peroxide as a mouthwash can help with sore throats and tooth aches. Be careful not to swallow it though. Hydrogen peroxide may be dangerous to your health as it is also poisonous.

For Hygienic Purposes

Again, using 3% hydrogen peroxide can clear up acne, loosen ear wax and whiten your teeth.

Remember when using hydrogen peroxide for your body it's always best to ask and seek your doctor's advice. We also, are all aware that hydrogen peroxide can also cause harm to our health. In addition, these can be remedies for adults but unsafe for children.
