Have a balloon battle at your next get-together. Inflate two balloons for each player and tie a 10 inch piece of yarn or string to each one. Go to a grassy area and have the players remove their socks and shoes. Attach an inflated balloon to each player's ankle. When the players receive the "GO" signal, they try to stomp on and pop the others players balloons. They key is to protect their own from being popped at the same time. When both of their balloons have been popped, they must drop out of the game. The last player to have balloons left is the winner. You can also add water to the balloons and fill them to the size of a tennis ball for a fun twist.
Inflate a bag full of large balloons and place them in a basket or trash bag. Divide all of the players into two teams and have them stand in a single file line. Have the first player in each line put an inflated balloon between their legs. In a relay type race, have the first player run, or waddle, their balloon down the line and drop it off when they cross the designated end stop. That player should then run back and tag the next player in their line. The next player then does the same thing until all players have finished. If the balloon is dropped before it gets to the designated end stop, that playermust restart from the beginning. The team to finish first wins.
Blow up balloons to about the size of a softball and attach them to a cork board with nails through their "necks". Fill the entire cork board with inflated balloons. Give each player a dart and have them pop the balloons with the dart.
Turn a game of hot potato into a fun game with water balloons! Fill a bucket full of water balloons up. Have a group of players sit in a circle close enough to pass the balloon. Turn on music and have the players begin to pass the balloon in a clockwise direction. At random times, turn off the music. The person with the balloon will be taken out of the game. However, before they leave the game....the water balloon gets busted over their head. Continue with a new balloon until only one player is left siting and dry!
