When you venture out to buy scrap booking products you will see that the items add up in price very quickly. There are little pictures, stickers, sayings, ribbons and all kinds of paper for what ever the project might be.
As you dress up your page you need to add the items and sayings that you desire. This scrap book says you and so should the story behind it. An inexpensive but very special way to add some little wedding pictures, cute colorful wedding corners, and the best of wedding saying is to use something that you have right in front of you.
The special couple will get hundreds of wedding cards. As these cards come in and the days after your special day go by, what do you do with these cards? Put them in a box, in the attic, throw them away? Why not put them to use in a very special way.
Add the used wedding cards to your scrap book. Get the most out of these cards that people spend a great deal of time reading and picking out. I know I will read at least 20 before deciding on the right card for the wedding couple.
Wedding cards always have elegant wedding pictures, along with cute pictures, and the best sayings that you could possibly get. By cutting the sayings out with fancy scissors you will be adding a decorative touch. Each card will have a different kind of potential so carefully examine the cards and ask yourself what items you could use from the card.
After you have the sayings and pictures cut out arrange them around your wedding pictures. Simply use acid free glue and place the sayings, pictures etc. on your scrap book page.
Think of what you are really doing by using your own wedding cards. Each card will be displayed wonderfully in your scrap book to be viewed numerous times unlike the card that would normally be tucked and hidden away. Not to mention another great thing, saving money! Adding up that savings you have made in your scrap book could actually be hundreds. That sounds like a lot but when you start to purchase scrap book products the total adds up quickly.
I hope you have a very special day and will keep it special by making a wonderful scrap book to keep your memories alive.

Post a CommentGreat idea! I never thought of that when I made a scrap book for my best friend! I also used old buttons that were laying around the house to add cuteness to ribbon.
Smart idea!
