Carrots are a popular vegetable that's often found on veggie trays at family gatherings or served as a side dish at dinner. Carrots are extremely healthy for people to consume, which is why many people want them as a part of their meals at least once a week. The reason carrots are so beneficial to people is because they are rich in essential vitamins, minerals and antioxidants. Some natural ingredients that are found in carrots include vitamin C, D, E, K, B1, B6, biotin, potassium, and calcium. They also contain carotene which is a crucial antioxidant, believed to help the body with many things. Ailments that can be controlled or prevented by consuming carrots include but not limited to acne, asthma, emphysema, high cholesterol and ulcers. Carrots are also believed to reduce the risk of getting cancer, and they help maintain healthy eyes. Consuming carrots is also a great way to cleanse your body of toxins.

All of this is great news for those who enjoy eating carrots, but what if you're one of the many people who don't like the way carrots taste? An easy way to still get all the health benefits that you would get from eating carrots is if you drink carrot juice. Carrot juice is an excellent health drink as well as a nice thirst quencher. If you have a juicer or blender, you can make your own carrot juice daily. Many people enjoy the taste of carrot juice by itself, but if you want to add other juices from various fruits or other vegetables to make it taste better, that's also alright.

Carrots are healthy for everyone, including children to consume, whether eating them or drinking its juice. Many stores sell different carrot juices that can be found in both juice aisle as well as the chilled juice aisle. If you have a hard time finding the carrot juice you prefer, a perfect place to look would be a health foods store. They usually sell carrot juice in nice size 12oz or so bottles, which can be found in the refrigerator section. These are awesome to buy because the convenient bottles can be carried to work or school, just like any other juice bottle. Since carrots carry so many nutrients that are essential for healthy living, it may be a good idea to start your kids off young eating them. If they can't stand to eat them raw or cooked, having them drink carrot juice is another great alternative.
