If I Could Just Write

Discrete

I'm folding hands for holy answers,

To a life that's poisonous like oleanders.

Like lonely dancers- I'm free at the mind.

With my freedom to rhyme,

I dwell in a realm that pleases divine.

When anger heats up inside-

And hatred freezes my heart,

Danger!

It's not easy to find a beast in the dark.

Hence my immense fight,

To find a pinch of light- in pitch night.

With my pen clenched tight- it's in sight.

If I could just write- I'd suspend in flight.

If I could just write.
