I know that I'd feel better,
if I could only cry;
If I could only let out
all the hurt I have inside.
If only I could let those
teardrops fall on down,
Then maybe, when I turn back,
I could gain some better ground.
if I could only cry;
If I could only let out
all the hurt I have inside.
If only I could let those
teardrops fall on down,
Then maybe, when I turn back,
I could gain some better ground.
A woman sometimes needs
the warmth of a man;
Someone who she cares about
and knows would understand.
A woman sometimes needs
to cry on a man's shoulder;
Someone who really cares for her
and would closely hold her.
I sit here, in my room,
with so much on my mind;
But, needing someone to hold me,
there's no one I could find.
So now, here I sit,
with all these things inside --
Knowing I'd feel much better,
if I could only cry.

Post a CommentSad. Sometimes the pain is unbearable but we continue to go through the motions of our daily lives. It makes us feel isolated, numb, and simply too tired to cry. I like this poem. It expresses a lot of emotion.
I think many can relate to this.
I like a good cry myself, good poem, very heartfelt :)
