If God

David Whitsell
Then is a time when things are revealed

If man decrees a thing will it be so

The best laid plans of ants and angels

Can make or brake

If God

Lightning can strike thrice

The sun could not rise

Songless birds and honest politicians be norm de jure

Should The Majestic One say so

Gold can tarnish

The lame shall fly

Peace cometh

And I will be forgiven

But only if God

Difficult is not possible

Frustration is unknown

For He is optionless

The Eternal King can't can't

For God and fail are as the east to the west

If God is for us

Woe to anything against us

The miraculous and the mundane are the same

For we borrow His air and squat on His land

Indeed all lives

Because God

Let readers and listeners know

All convictions and expectations

Our hopes and dreams

The summit of fear itself

And unending joy

Can all be realized

If God
