If Greed Died

LP
Picture a world where greed ceases to exist; with people living in peace and harmony, where togetherness and a true understanding of each other finally kiss. A world where war is not heard of or remembered, where hearts are warm, from evil they no longer tremble. A world where all priorities are the well being of each other, no matter what race, creed or color; love the main agenda, cherishing one's sisters and brothers. Pulling together can be as easy as A B C, letting the value of life our weigh materialistic things, putting greed in its place, in the darkness, to never again be able to see or run free. There are always two sides to every story; in this case, one side, the downfall, on the other side, the glory. First the bad news of what we haven't done and what we should do. It's common knowledge that greed is like cancer; it spreads, destroying all it comes in contact with; it has no conscience, so it takes no prisoners, trampling everything that gets in its way for it will never be credited for producing a better day. Leaving a path of destruction with the sick, the poor and the helpless, scattered all over the place. Greed giving birth to control, born with a detrimental attitude, giving no thought to the rights of others. To make things crystal clear, look at the world we live in today: wars, power struggles, outright murder, absence of compassion, intentional or unintentional, the creating of widespread diseases. the thirst for money, the lack of leadership, backsliding and straightforward attempts to destroy spiritual thoughts. Lies are being sold, confusion of a people on a steady roll.Education of minds now focused on wealth, leaving out all the chapters about how money neither stops death nor secures happiness, for when you run out of it you will fall to the back of the line with no help. Greed satisfying your needs, the world is planting a crop of materialistic seeds. We say in God we trust, but the reality, its just written on the back, the value of the almighty dollar, is what we truly believe in and after which we most definitely lust. If you believe in Jesus Christ, a loaded question, so many do and just as many don't, just for simple thought, just imagine if Jesus Christ had a materialistic mind, getting ahead financially was His only concern; love for us, He had no time. Where would the world be today, without thoughts of His love and His determination to teach what is righteous and just. Looking at the world today, His spirit within Holy words is the only thing saving us. The world is spinning out of control, as poverty, mayhem, hatred and lack of affection grow. Where life has lost its true meaning, easily being destroyed and traded in for a pot of gold. You can sit back and enjoy the ride if you are on that materialistic high; money won't save your soul and you surely can't take it with you when you die. The main problem with greed is it starts out with treasuring what you've got; the the mind becomes confused; now it's all about what you can hold on to, turning you into a person you never knew. Now this is the best part: If greed died, there would be no hunger, no homelessness, and a all-out war to cure the diseases we already have without the intentions of creating more to sell drugs or to destroy a people, no frame of mind with the attitude of take or leave it; peace would be up front, with no hatred for anyone. Peace of mind would finally have room to play, with respect and love for each other in every way. Children brainwashed with goodness, with teachings of togetherness, learning to live, creating a world of peace and beauty and when it comes to evil, easily refusing it. If only greed would die, the heavens would no longer have to cry
