If Love is There, Poem

A Poem About Love

If Love Is There

Whispers in the night, two can share
What a couple is this special pair
Not time or death can keep apart
They knew it almost from the start
We are ploys in this tiny world
Like an oyster with a pearl
Some of us belong to one another
Almost like a child and mother
Sometimes we are lucky and we find
Someone to hold, who'll share our mind
Rarely, does all of it come together
When it does, it withstands all weather
For love and friendship, seem to me
Go hand in hand for all to see.
