If You Want to Throw Shoes at President Bush, Then Get Out of My Country

As you probably know, Bush was in Iraq on December 14th, 2008. During a press conference an Iraqi reporter, Muntader al-Zaidi threw his shoes at President Bush.

President Bush was in Iraq for the final time as President and he had just agreed to withdraw all American Forces out of Iraq by 2011.

As a result many Americans have created games, or little videos of shoes being thrown at President Bush. Several of these games were uploaded on the internet the very same day. Many of these are very degrading and disrespectful. Like him, hate him, disagree with him, I don't care, but you should at least respect him, or get out of my country.

If President Bush was ever to be assassinated, if that was a grenade and not a shoe, then I am afraid that there will be dancing in the streets of America. More dancing then there was in the Middle East on 9/11. If people are so against the President and the United States of America, then get out of my country.

An event has been scheduled for January 19th, 2009. Here many activists plan to throw shoes at the White House. I have also heard rumors that they will be thrown at President Bush himself. If you are going to attack the President or throw things at President Bush then you obviously are not proud to be American, so get out of my country.

There is a Facebook group, where they plan to gather 500,000 Anti-America Americans to throw one million shoes at President Bush. They keep track of how many members they have. Right now it is a little over ten thousand. However, their numbers increase exponentially. All of these people; get out of my country.

I realize that President Bush is not the most popular President. I realize he is no Abraham Lincoln. He is not the number one President of all time, but he has had one of the hardest presidencies of all time. Less than a year in office he has to deal with the largest terrorist attack of all time. I may not know exactly what President Bush is doing all of the time, but I do know that he is doing the best that he can. I stand behind him and support his efforts to lead a county that is trying to tear him down internally. If you throw shoes at President Bush then you're throwing shoes at me and the few Americans left in this country. If you want to throw shoes at us, then get out of our country.

    %#$k Bush,

he is the reasons why we are in the predicament we are in today, throwing a shoe doesnot show how patriotic you are but, letting him know that he is not respected and get out of the white house.
oh by the way, it is not yours or his(george bush)country, it is our country and that is one of our freedoms, so everybody grab a shoe and throw it at all the old policies and welcome the new.

by few, I meant those that are not out to destroy Bush. I'm not saying he is the best President ever, but I am saying that people should not be supporting the guy who threw his shoes at our President.

The few Americans? Isn't that more like the 200 million US citizens? I don't hate President Bush. He is one of the few American Republicans who did not advocate sitting back and watching the core of our strength (our economy) collapse. Now everyone is whining and moaning over the attempts to restore our economy. Yet those very same Republicans claim they want to win the war on terror? Exactly how do they expect to win the war on terror when our economy is collapsing? President Bush blinded himself to the realities of the Islamic culture and performed the dumbest act in the history of our nation. With the borders of Iraq wide open and the government of Iraq is disarray, he invited the terrorists into that nation with the words "Bring it on!" He is ignorant enough to think he could resolve an Islamic crisis by calling other nations evil. Pathetic!
