Women are generally known to be ruled more by emotions as compared to men. Due to this, a world ruled by women may be one which is more compassionate and forgiving as compared to the world now, which is mostly rule by men. Women are usually considered to be more soft-hearted and may not be as firm as men when handling matters. Therefore this could lead to a more forgiving society whereby the laws which are present currently may be altered in a way that offenders for minor crimes may be given more chances to repent instead of being punished for their first few mistakes.
Even though it may seem to be a kinder and better world on the surface, it may not actually be the case. Women being more emotional may not be fair if they judge criminals since their feelings may affect their judgment. For example in rape cases, women may actually sympathize and pity the victim more, therefore it may result in a heavier punishment for the offender.. This may be unfair for the male offenders since women will mostly stand on the side of the victim and empathize with them. As a result, crimes which are related to women rights may have more severe punishments, while crimes related to male rights may be treated less seriously. Besides that, the laws may be amended such that it will be more favorable for women. As a result, the will may be unfair for men, thus, making it not a better place to live in.
There would be less discrimination against women if women were to rule the world. Currently, the world is mostly ruled by men as there are more men in political positions as compared to women. In many countries today, women still face discrimination as they are seen as the weaker sex, with weaker abilities. Besides that, there are also some workplaces which are dominated by men and they are believed to be more capable in those particular fields. Such examples include engineering and computing jobs. Therefore if women ruled the world, this discrimination may be reduced. Women will be able to have a greater power in making decisions and will be able to have control and say over various matters. However this could also lead to discrimination against men if women were to rule the country as they would be the sex with a greater power and this may result in a reversal of roles where men will become the weaker sex. Due to this, women may leave the dirty jobs to the men such as doing house work, taking care of the children and so forth. Therefore the reversal of roles between men and women may lead to the unfair treatment of men. Hence in the end, if women ruled the world, it will still not be a better place to live in since men may most likely be unfairly treated.
The world may be a more complicated place if women ruled the world. This is due to the fact that women are generally less direct in the things they say as they tend not to express their true feelings and it is harder to guess how they feel towards certain issues as compared to men who are more straightforward in expressing their thoughts and feelings. Therefore if women were to rule the countries in the world, it may be harder to make deals and come to a common agreement among the various countries and thus could result in the loss of economic opportunities for the various countries. Besides that, men are also perceived to be more decisive as compared to women; therefore they may be more efficient. Hence a world ruled by women may not be a better place.
However, these may not be an accurate prediction as not all women will have these kinds of characteristics since a person's characteristic and how she behaves depends largely on individual.
Therefore even though the world ruled by women may appear to be as predicted, all those are only a generalization and stereotypes on how women will generally behave given the circumstances. However, ultimately how an individual will behave varies among individuals. There have to be equity between men and women to make the world a better place to live in so that everyone, regardless of men and women will be treated fairly regardless of our sex. In all, the world ruled by women may not be a better place to live in.
