IHOP in Atlanta, Georgia - Restaurant Review

Not Just Breakfast!

Karen Francis
IHOP has been a staple in the community for years. I recall the first time I heard people talking about IHOP and how they served breakfast and other foods 24 hours a day and 7 days a week. However, there are only certain locations in the U.S. where they still serve overnight; most establishments in Georgia are only open until 12 midnight or 2 a.m., so check your local listening for hours of operation.

As some of you probably already know, I LOVE breakfast food, so I can eat IHOP anytime of the day. A few years ago when I hosted a radio program in Virginia, I would always go to IHOP for dinner when I got off the air. It was such a wonderful little treat after being on the air for 9 hours straight. You can say that IHOP was my safe place, my place of comfort after a long hard day. I believe in working hard and playing hard, so when work is done; it's okay to indulge in some good food, but keep in mind your health, so as I always say, eat responsibly!

A few years ago, I wasn't so health conscious because I would always get the pancakes with cheese eggs, grits and harsh browns and of course wash it down with a little coffee. However, I have since changed some poor eating habits and have gravitated towards a better way of eating which includes a lot of vegan dishes as well as egg whites and cutting down on so much starch. Instead of ordering 3 pancakes, it's okay to have just one with your egg white omelet.

IHOP is a great place for families as they always have coupons that allow you to purchase one meal and get the other free and of course they have discounts for seniors and special pricing on the children's menu. Recently I checked out IHOP after some ministry and wanted to order a black bean omelet, but it appears that they have changed their menu somewhat, so I went for the Spinach and Mushroom omelet made with egg whites only and topped with spinach and tomatoes. It was absolutely delicious! And yes, I had a pancake on the side my friends.

Although I love my breakfast, IHOP has so much more to choose from. They offer sandwiches, fish, steak and even international crepes. Don't forget the dessert. You can enjoy some of IHOP's ice cream, cheesecake and of course their famous fruit crepes. I know you're getting hungry right now, aren't you? It's okay, there's an IHOP open right now in your neighborhood.

IHOP has several locations throughout Georgia, so visit them on line today to find a restaurant nearest you at www.ihop.com . Bottom-line: Great food, Healthy fare, Discounts and one located ne

I thought most IHOPS were 24/7. Obviously, they are in Vegas but even with I lived in NW Arkansas they were....either way, love it....
