Illegal Immigrants Induce Ignorant Written Responses
With the onslaught of immigration concern and warnings, it is rather disturbing to note some of the most ignorant written responses to the Mexican Immigrant.
First off, unless you are a full-blooded Native American, no one has the right to complain about Mexican immigration. Please check your history books. The Native American was here till America was colonized. For all the individuals who believe that America is theirs and theirs alone you are wrong. People often complain that it is rude and wrong for Mexican Immigrants to speak Spanish. First off, the USA does not have a national language. It is a melting pot of different languages. Having lived and visited Chicago, New Orleans, and West Texas area there are hundreds of different languages spoken each day. That is the beauty of America.
Another misconception by ignorant writers is that the Hispanic community does the majority of drug selling. Where is this off the wall allegation from? I would like to know where certain authors get their facts. In fact drug dealing and drug use is done by all races not just Hispanics.
Another common thread spread by ignorant writers is that Hispanics drive recklessly? Wow last I checked there were plenty of people who drove reckless. It is not limited to the Hispanic race. Living in downtown Chicago I have seen many different types of people drive recklessly and with loud music. I have also been to many non-Hispanic neighborhoods where the music was blaring both from car and home. I have no problem with any race playing their music.
It seems that only an ignorant person would claim such allegations. In fact people coming from Mexico typically do the jobs most Americans do not want to do. For example, I know of many immigrants (Hispanic and European) scrubbing nursing room toilet homes for wealthy Americans and getting paid $3.15 an hour with no health care or retirement benefits.
Another claim to fame is that many immigrants supposedly are not in the military. A claim by many ignorant writers is that American soldiers are protecting Hispanics and illegal immigrants. In fact there are many different ethnicities in the military, especially minorities either Hispanic or African-American who are serving proudly and have given their lives. In fact minorities are continuously trying to prove their loyalty and honor to mainstream America. The military represents the best way to a successful lifestyle. It is often their only way to a better life.
It is truly remarkable to see exactly how ignorant people are these days. If anything people from differing races should try to understand their different ideals and different customs. You do not have to agree with them, but people should respect other human beings. Until this happens their will always be hate, war, and killing.
Most immigrants do not harm or try to harm other people. In fact they just want to take care of their family and gain their citizenship.
Before people need to judge and stereotype someone from a different race, they need to learn that just because someone is different does not mean they are evil or out to hurt people.

What really matters is to give a good example of your ethnic race etc. You should work hard and do your best. As long as you're doing that it doesn't matter what people say or do to you. It just proves that they are lower than you because they haven't learned to accept that all people are different.

You don't have to come from Mexico to be an illegal immigrant. I came to America because it is better than my home country, just like every other American that isn't an American Indian. So many people are mean just because of where certain people are from. Thats because we make it hard for lazy white Americans to get away with being so slack on the job. And before any hatefull responses. I have a MBA but just like the immigrants that I grew up with in America that work on farms and sewing halls, I work twice as hard for my money than anyone that is third generation American or higher.

Why pay someone a living wage when other people will accept a substandard one? And hey, if we do not have to deduct taxes and report wages paid we save money and cheat the government out of tax dollars. Our pockets get fatter and the people who do things legally get to bear the brunt of paying for the water that is being imported to service all the new people. Who said only Mexicans sell drugs? In LA the Mexican-Mafia and MS-13 gangs force other drug dealers to pay taxes to them. If they refuse they or their family members get killed. So they gain twice, tax free drug income and collection of their imposed taxes.
Agreed people make ignorant comments on the issue. You made quite a few yourself. If you all hate the United States of America so much for a history those alive today did not particpate in, why not go somewhere else. Spain is the country responsible for the slaughter of the people who lived in the area that is now Mexico. Every generation of immigrants that have migrated to the USA learned to speak English. Why should we oldtimers be forced to learn to speak Spanish, when we are not forced to learn to speak French, German, Italian, Swahili, Tagalog, Hungarian, Russian, Chinese, Japense, the language of India and so on? If people want everyone to speak Spanish move to Spain or any of the 3/4's of the American Continents that speak a variation of the Spanish language.
