I'm Confused
About Women
Nice guys finish last, but they run back to the guys that abuse.
When it comes to women, I'm just a little confused.
Sometimes things right in front of your eyes aren't that easy to see.
You call other women whores if they have sex for money, yet you do it for free?
I don't understand women, I mean I'm really confused.
Sometimes I just don't understand the opposite sex.
They yell and rant about equal rights, which I can respect.
So if you hit me like a man, you should know just what to expect.
Personally, I have never put my hands on a woman.
But I will be the first to say, some of them probably had it comin'.
They want to fight, grab a knife, but if you defend your life, here come the cops, runnin'.
I don't understand it, man, it escapes me.
They say without them, there's no us, but God used a man to make Eve.
You all keep singin' the same song from Manhattan to Lake Mead.
You just might be from Venus, hell, you all alien to me.
Can't you see I'm doin' somthin', get the hell away from me.
I'm not payin' attention while you speak Akkadian to me.
I don't understand you, that's as simply stated as it can be.
I don't understand, I won't understand, you can't explain it to me.
Write the prescriptions, break out the straight jackets, they all crazy to me.

Post a CommentExcellent poem. What drives me crazy about men is they use a story to prove that all women are evil. Native American tribes tell a different tale of creation. Assuming that the Adam and Eve story is the truth and all that followed, then one must know that Jesus respected whores. It was unusual in his time for a single female to travel with a bunch of men and she was his constant "companion". According to the Bible he so respected Mary Magdalene he appeared to her first after rising from the dead.
