I'm Henry IV I Am

GMJ
KING HENRY'S PLAN to lead a crusade
Is interrupted by military news:
Against the Welsh Rebel whose name is Glyndwr,
Henry's army in the south did lose.

Young Harry Percy (nicknamed Hotspur)
Who is supposedly loyal to the King,
Is summoned to court; for prisoners from battle
He hath refused to deliver or bring.

Explain his actions to Henry he must;
Though no Percy can Henry truly trust.
The Percys helped Henry win the crown;
Henry never repaid them; he let them down.

Meanwhile, in a tavern, Prince Harry is having fun;
King Henry is a father disappointed in his son.
The Prince drinks with criminals as much as he can
With the likes of Falstaff--his favorite old man.

Falstaff's good friend whose name is Poins,
Allegedly wants to rob wealthy traveler's coins.
'Tis really a prank on Falstaff they play;
The Prince and Poins mock him that day.

Meanwhile, Hotspur is told of plans to overthrow the King;
'Tis a civil war his family plans to bring.
They gather allies from all around
To defeat Henry's army and steal the crown.

Some allies of the Percys defect and might warn Henry;
Therefore the civil war must commence in a hurry;
Thou wilt know who is victorious and who is defeated
After the great battle located at Strewsbury.

Will Prince Harry turn over a new leaf?
Or will he continue to cause his father grief?
And what of Falstaff and his friend Poins?
Will they fight in the battle?
Do they have the loins?

Who the heroes are and who heroes are not
Thou wilt see in the final scenes of this plot.
