I'm Just a Jealous Dog

My people are often embracing
Each other and not me
When I spot them together I go racing
Across to say, you two it should be me

I am never allowed to sleep between the lovers
But it's cold and lonely down here
As soon as I get under their covers
They kick me out and say not here, there

I am just a lovable little puppy
I'm told not so little, everywhere that I lay I hog
Even if I'm not so little, I'm crazy though, wappy
But the truth be known, I'm a jealous dog.
