I want your wisdom,
I don't want to hear your lies.
I'd better see the truth
when I'm looking in your eyes.
I walk in circles
but I travel in straight lines.
My eyes may be closed
but I can see the signs.
I don't want to hear your lies.
I'd better see the truth
when I'm looking in your eyes.
I walk in circles
but I travel in straight lines.
My eyes may be closed
but I can see the signs.
You're just another dreamer
in a wide awake world.
You're just another dreamer,
I'm a wide awake girl.
I speak in stories
when I stumble through the night.
I talk in tales
in broad daylight.
I hear your hunger
when I wander in the rains.
I can feel the thunder
throbbing in my veins.
You're just another dreamer
in a wide awake world.
You're just another dreamer,
I'm a wide awake girl.

Wonderful poem!
Great poem. I think the masses of people are asleep though and need to awaken to the truth that surrounds them, rather than look into eyes and believe another's lies.
