Post a CommentYour post has scared me even though I have took my dog to the vet(before reading your post)and they are treating him for parvo he is 5 months old I have two other dogs a 9 month old and 31/2 year old I will know in a few days if he responds to the treatment and I have gave boosters to the other dogs and all we can do is pray that the treatment works and my other dogs dont catch it. I have had my min pin for the longest and dont know what I would do without him. Please pray for all my pups.
It kills me to read your log.. four years ago i had a boxer/lab mix puppy named roxy. at 6 months old she contracted parvo and it didnt show until a saturday well the vets office was about to close and refused to see her until monday. I will say that was the worst weekend of my life..the vomit and diahrea was by far the most fould smell. But the look in her eyes is wat killed me. Monday her test came back positive for parvo..so my mom paid $500 for the iv,vet stay, and antibiotics. Well the vet screwed up and my lil pup died. It took along time to get over it and to get another female dog. well now i have a 4 month old english mastiff named Bella and this morning we woke up to diahera, no appetite and no energy..i know i cant see another dog go through that..and what kills me even more is taht we are tapped out financially..the military isnt paying us this month so there would be no way to pay for the "cure"..idk how to tell me husband.
I want to let you know that I'm sorry for your loss, and that reading your article is making me think that my dog has parvo. My baby hasn't been acting like himself. He looks very tired all the time, he sleeps a lot, doesn't really eat as much as he use to, and throws up once in a while. I'm sad because if it turns out to be parvo, sadly I won't have the money to try and cure it. Is there anything else I can do??? I love my puppy, he brought a lot of happiness to me and my husband, he was like our child. I don't want to loose him!!!
