
Two rehabilitated brown pelicans are released into the wild near Aransas National Wildlife Refuge in Texas. The birds were a part of the largest bird release to date. The U. S. Coast Guard transported 62 brown pelicans and 1 northern gannet from New Orleans to Texas on Wednesday, June 23, 2010.
