Three Hyakunari Gourds dried 3 different ways. The gourd on the left was dried naturally, the one in the center was green cleaned, and the one on the right was rot cleaned. Notice the green cleaned gourd has a much lighter and evenly colored skin which is preferential for pyrographic work.
