Post a CommentWHERE CAN I FIND PICTURES OF THE BAR THAT WAS IN THIS HIDE AWAY.
I think the capone hideout is more fantasy than reality. I have read much about organized crime as well as Capone. I know he enjoyed Lansing Michigan, and visited his brother in Mercer. As for landing booze on the little lake No plane exists that could land on that lake and carry enough booze to make it woth it even during prohibition. A small 4 seater could barley carry enough booze to fill a car let alone a truck and thats if that plane even had enough room to take off again lots of drag on those pontoons. As for multiple landings and cargo drops. Too much attention. Besides Al already had the Detroit purple gang from Detroit bringing him Canadian booze. I cant say for sure but I highly doubt Capone ever knew the place existed. There is no documentation of any sort that he spent time there that Im aware of, other than stories.
