The Ferrari Daytona Spyder driven in the first two seasons and first two episodes of the third season was actually a kit car based upon a Chevy Corvette Chassis. After some legal maneuvers and negotiations it was blown up and then replaced by a Ferrari Testarossa for the remainder of the series.
