He's not trying to even beat MJ's records. He's trying to get HIS OWN. They are both great basketball players and have and will continue to exceed.

To me isn't an issue, kobe bryant and michael jordan has different skills and mental ability to win the game however people wanted to exaggerate that differences. And trying to spread out the comparison of the two players. When you see how michael plays the game is quite different compare to kobe bryant. And everyone knows that michael jordan has a lot of experiences on the floor compare to kobe bryant in fact, kobe bryant since in his childhood age, he actually idolizes michael jordan's skills in basketball. So i think it's all up to the people how they look up both players when they play.
