A time I would not want to miss.
I imagine his smile and soft gentle voice,
and I would understand how many times he would
give me opportunity and choice.
I would imagine myself among the crowd of so many,
and hearing His teachings would be refreshing for my smile.
I imagine Him saying, "Come and sit for a while"
What a time this must have been.
When Jesus walked on the Earth among women and men.
I imagine all things I could ask and have answered.
What a blessing and what a great sight
To stand before a man with such power and might.
But then my eyes now full of tears
as I remember all the angry crowds with their sneers.
How they mocked him, and beat him and took away his clothes.
My heart is in such pain no one really knows.
I thought of the rage and the disgust
as they dragged him through the dirt and the dust.
The anger now singed my soul,
for he was broken and bruised and nailed to a pole.
No one could really account Him for wrong.
So many just followed others and all went along.
I imagine the eyes of his mother as she stood on her helpless watch.
And as she heard the hammer banging to make each notch.
It all would seem like such a sensless act
I imagine to look around and see the impact.
I am sure that many hung their heads that day,
While others were shocked as they laid him down and carried Him away.
I imagine myself watching when the early morning came.
and someone shouted, "He's gone, our lives will never be the same!"
I imagine standing and watching each and every tear,
as the Diciplies longed to have him near.
I imagine to see the look on their face,
when they all found out the cave was empty and
he had descended from this place.
A man full of hope and love and a heart full of grace.
What they did to Him, was such a disgrace.
But that was then and this is today.... and here is what I see
I see a mother smile as she sees her children change because of what He did.
I laugh at the sun as it shines bright on someones darkest night.
My heart is joyous when I know that I have been transformed
and my hope is renewed yet another day.
Yes, I still see the lonely, the lost and broken hearted.
I also see the doubtful and disbelieving souls.
That will never change nor stop.
What I can't imagine is what it would have been like if He hadn't paid the price,
I am sure I would be in a big mess and it wouldn't be very nice.
What He did long ago,
brought hope to the lost and hungry soul.
I don't have to imagine a walk next to Him at a time in the past.
For His footsteps next to me are swift and steadfast.
The joy that fills my heart empties out into a sea of plenty
For His love is a gift so filled like the land of milk and honey.
My eyes bright and full of smile,
as He sits and talks with me for a while.
His words, His power and His might.
I hold them close and never lose sight.
His love surrounds me as never before,
He has fought my battle and won my war.
I hope you get this, need I say anymore!!!

Beautiful! Wow!
See, this is an example where if you Googled for "religious magazines" or "Christian magazines" that maybe you could sell it. Not that I would know.
