Imaginarium 2009 Glitter Suite Dollhouse

Christmas time is fast approaching, and I have been shopping my little tail off. The one person I have been having a hard time shopping for is my daughter. She is such a picky person, and I promise I am going to pull all my hair out before I get finished with her.

I did manage to find the Imaginarium 2009 Glitter suite dollhouse, which is one of the cutest things I've bought her thus far. For $100 I got a really great dollhouse that I hope my daughter ends up loving.

What I like about the Imaginarium 2009 Glitter suite dollhouse

When I first got home I went downstairs to check out the dollhouse. I like to know what I'm working with before she opens her gift. I was pretty amazed at all the cute little features that come with the Imaginarium 2009 Glitter suite dollhouse.

First of all unlike many dollhouses, it was easy to assemble. It had a lot of different pieces and that I will admit but it took me no time to put it together.

Another thing I liked about the Imaginarium 2009 Glitter suite dollhouse is the open house design. It was cute and very well cut. Each room in the dollhouse had it's own little theme, along with its' own little décor which was also neat.

Also, it seemed as if it was able to take on a lot of playtime. I wasn't interested in having a dollhouse that would break down on me in a few months or so. I wanted something that could withstand use and hold up for a long time. It's also extremely tall so I'm expecting my 4 year old to be faced with a dollhouse that's taller than she is.

What I don't like about the Imaginarium 2009 Glitter suite dollhouse

Even though I Think my daughter is going to like the dollhouse, I personally as a consumer find it a bit boring for what I paid. Considering the fact that I paid $100 for it, it didn't come with enough accessories. I was expecting a couple of dolls to go along with the dollhouse but I didn't find any. I actually plan on going out and buying a couple but I still feel as if they should have at least put a couple in the box.

I also noticed that the elevator that comes with the Imaginarium 2009 Glitter suite dollhouse didn't work as well as it should have. It got stuck most of the time which was a bit irritating for me so I'm sure it will be just as irritating for my daughter.

The Imaginarium 2009 Glitter suite dollhouse as a whole is pretty cute, well designed and could be a great add-on to any little girls room. I would prefer if they upgraded in the accessory area. But other than that, I think that it's an all-around decent dollhouse.
