Immaculatus Hibiscus and Christ

Deonils
When I was still in grade school, I knew of the Sacrifice of Jesus Christ ... I acknowledged it but I invested almost no emotional or spiritual energy into that imagery. These days, it is so different ... that His face was beaten to a pulp, beyond recognition, and his body and person humiliated as starkly as it is possible to do to a human being and form. And He did it alone ... for the duration of the hours on the Cross, Jesus had to accept separation (hell, if ever there was such a reality), until the resurrection.

He died alone, betrayed by his friends and followers, disowned by the Jewish religious leaders and even the populace He had healed and blessed ... yes, my Lord died all forlorn and alone, so that we who believe may never have to die , or suffer, alone. Alelujah
