Immerse Yourself in a World of PSP Video

Mike Long
So, you've invested in a PSP. It cost a great deal more than the Nintendo DS, and you don't want to spend a penny more, which is certainly understandable. Don't fret! There's plenty of free stuff out there for you to download and enjoy.

How about some video? Free psp videos are all over the Internet. In fact, any video can be converted for use on your PSP, so that widens your library to just shy of infinity. So feel free to rip Youtube of all its glory for your own personal enjoyment, it's all free, after all!

Another free resource of psp videos is something you have already. Your own DVD library can be converted for the PSP. Imagine the envy of your friends as you enjoy "Deuce Bigalow 2: European Gigolo" on the small screen. Imagine your mom's jealousy as you watch "The Bridges of Madison County" on a long car ride.

So what other free psp downloads are out there for the taking? If you are thinking in terms of games, there is a limited selection of free psp video game downloads. Sony has offered demos of games such as LocoRoco as free psp game downloads, which can be run directly from the memory stick. In the future, Sony will be releasing Playstation One games for the PSP.

These will cost some money, but they will be downloadable and will run from the memory stick as well. Hopefully in the future, Sony will recognize that there is an untapped market that would like to easily play downloadable games on their PSP and develop a market to address this need. Until that point, you can enjoy the demos that are currently available.

For the more tenacious PSP user, the PSP has the ability to play games from old systems like the Nintendo Entertainment System, Super Nintendo, Sega Genesis, and countless other classic consoles. The PSP homebrew community has made this all possible in a very short time, and it would be surprising if Sony did not match their tenacity in some way in the near future.

Of course, if you already have some games for your PSP, you may end up searching for free psp cheats. Grand Theft Auto can get rather tough, and wouldn't a tank just make everything a whole lot easier? Maybe if you had a few more seconds you could make a larger Katamari.

There are many sites out in the wilderness of the Internet for you to traverse, but cheathappens.com and gamefaqs.com are two of the more popular and well-updated cheat sites, and you don't have to pay to access the cheats. Honestly, if you are paying for cheat codes, you shouldn't be allowed to use the Internet.
