Immigrants Rights Activists at Wrigley Prove to Be Idiots

I could not help but chuckle when I came across an article entitled "Immigrant rights activists protest Diamondbacks" (http://www.sportingnews.com/mlb/article/2010-04-29/immigrant-rights-activists-protest-diamondbacks). The story basically talks about a group of immigrants rights activists who protested outside of Wrigley Field because the Cubs were playing the Diamondbacks. I really feel sorry for this group of idiots.

A) The Diamondbacks president is actually on the record (according to the above article) as opposing the controversial immigration bill in Arizona. So congratulations you idiot boycotters who are protesting because a certain team is in town even though that teams president is on your side. Grab a newspaper and actually learn about the cause you are boycotting before you do something stupid, wait, too late.

B) People who are against this immigration bill came up with this great idea that they will boycott everything Arizona. I don't know who keeps coming up with ideas for this crew but they better find a better group of leaders and soon because boycotting Arizona will only make this new immigration law more effective assuming that the boycott is effective. I have heard Arizona is a beautiful state and there are undoubtedly a large amount of people who visit the state every year. The tax revenue produced by tourism most likely provides a large source of the funding for the free services that so many illegal immigrants take advantage of. If the tax revenue provided by tourism were to dry up, you might also see the amount of illegal immigrants in the state drying up because they would no longer be able to receive the services they covet. These immigrants rights activists are doing an incredible job of putting those in favor of the Arizona immigration bill in a win-win situation no matter what happens.
