Important Elements of Digital Scrapbooking

Parents especially tend to find themselves heavily involved in digital scrapbooking as a way to keep up with the changes that their child experiences. Because of these changes, it is possible to not only have a lot of fun, but also enjoy the overall experience of creating images that are memorable, personalized and unique. Creating the perfect digital scrapbook page is something deeply personal, but it can be quite helpful to utilize a few specific functions in the process to enjoy the results the most.

Layers are your friend, regardless of what you are doing; they are always going to be your friend. Taking some time to carefully lay out your images across numerous layers is important to obtaining the best results. Because layers can allow you to make small changes to the overall image without altering or damaging the image they are going to be quite useful to all of your design processes.

Utilize the usage of blending options such as shadows, bevel, embossing and even inner or outer glow. These blending options can allow you to modify each aspect of the image and tweak the overall appearance of the image that you are creating. Bevel and emboss can allow you to add some really sophisticated elements for the overall appearance of the picture and allow you to enjoy the ability to really specialize your images.

Other aspects like shadows and inner or outer glow can really add an extra touch to your scrapbook pages. This can be a great way to really punch up the overall look of your scrapbook page as well. This is a great way to really improve and customize the overall look. It is very important though that you take special care when using these elements so that you do not over use the them. Too much glow can create a very bad look for your image, and it is also possible that you will make it nearly impossible to look at if you overuse the glow features.

Creating a digital scrapbook page is about so much more than just trying to put pictures together, you need to spend some time carefully adjusting the layers, as well as the overall appearance of the page until you are satisfied with the overall way that it looks. Of course, small changes to the image will result in some major changes to the overall look depending on the change that you make. With a few minor adjustments to the images that you use, it is possible to use a standard scrapbook kit and still turn the image into something that is completely unique and special.
