Religion and spirituality have so many different degrees and hues of interest and understanding. It is however, something that every human being will discover about themselves. When you are begining a relationship with someone this area should be considered as the patch of grass in front a garden gate. The place where the two of you meet and decide whether you enter the garden together or alone. You have to be very open minded about this subject because no one is at fault nor is either of you more right than the other. I do not think that you must feel the exact same way but to have very different beliefs would be a red flag.
Now after you have meet on the patch of grass and you are ready to walk into the garden together you need to know if this person is going to walk in front of you, behind you or beside you holding your hand. Relationships are started everyday for many reasons and not all of them are for the sole purpose of romance. Intimacy is the secret word. Sort of like a key if you will. It comes in all shapes and sizes. The lock and key are made for each other. You will carry this key with you together and see if it fits the gate. I am not referring to sexuality. There will be plenty of time for that. Sex is but a butterfly in the garden. It is not every beautiful thing in your garden.
When the key has been tested and the gate unlocked now you set out into that beautiful place at your desired pace. Some people will run and laugh until have seen everything and then look back to contemplate its beauty. Others will walk slowly and take in each new and amazing thing one at a time and find that they will need much more time to see everything the garden has to offer them. But no matter the pace, this is the time to laugh. Learn what make the other person laugh and plant more of that. If you cannot laugh together as you walk in life then you garden most certainly will die.
