Important Wedding Day Makeup Tools

In most cases, a bride tends to pay too much attention on her wedding gown, and she almost forgets about her makeup. She thinks that the professional makeup artist she hired would take care of everything. She also assumes the responsibility to make her look beautiful in her wedding all relies on the professional makeup artist. Unfortunately, that is not the case. While the professional makeup artist does what he/she is paid for, you should still take full responsibility of your look. Remember that the focus would be all on you (and your partner) so don't take your appearance lightly.

So if you have not booked a professional makeup artist yet, call one now and discuss with him/her the makeup essentials needed on your wedding day.

Waterproof mascara. The wedding day is a happy yet emotional event. Basically, a lot of emotions get mixed up. Most probably, your parents will start shedding tears as you walk down the aisle. And while you are unsure if you would cry or not, know that brides usually do. So to save you from worrying about your mascara getting messy, use waterproof mascara instead.

Translucent powder. This powder not only prevents you from having a shiny face, it also helps in keeping your makeup the entire day.

Lip pencil. Tell your professional makeup artist to not use ordinary lipstick but a lip pencil instead. A lip pencil can help in maintaining the color of your lip all day long. Wearing a lip gloss can then add luster to your lips.

Concealer. It is understandable that a bride gets stressed out especially when the wedding day is already fast approaching. Eye bugs and blemishes would be hard to avoid. On your wedding day, these unruly things should not be on your face! Thus, you need to use a concealer to conceal them and look beautiful as you walk down the aisle.

Lipstick. After the wedding ceremony kiss, you would need a lipstick to bring back the color to your lips.

You must tell your professional makeup artist that your wedding day makeup essentials are lipstick, waterproof mascara, concealer, translucent powder and lip pencil. If everything is not present, tell him/her that he/she will not get paid. The purpose of doing so is just to stress the importance of the items mentioned. After all, it is important to look stunning and beautiful on your wedding day.
