Imported Iphone Leather Case Review: Stylish, Slim, and $5 with Free Shipping

Do not settle for an Iphone case because there are only a few selections in the store. Think of how you are going to use your phone and decide how you want it to look. You just spent a great deal of money on this slim, sexy little device and most leather cases are just going to hide its natural beauty.

The case I chose was Item #280366989445 from Ebay. It was an experiment to be sure, but a successful one. The pros and cons are as follows.

Pros

Full View and Use of the Touch Screen

Many of the cases I considered used leather itself to hold the phone to the case. While this seems sturdy, I thought it looked too bulky and I read reviews that some partially blocked the touch screen. If you enjoy playing games on your Iphone, this can be annoying and deadly.

Slim, Compact Design

I wanted to be able to put my Iphone in my pocket, or fit it into the cell phone pocket in my purse. I don't use the credit card slots in the case for cards, but I do use them to store the screen cleaning cloth that came with the case. Because of this leather case's super-slim design, I can carry Iphone, cloth, and case in any way I choose. When I ride my bike I can slip it in my pocket and no matter what size purse I carry, I know it will fit.

Attractiveness

If black is your favorite color, you will have no trouble finding an inexpensive leather Iphone case. If you wish for some diversity, you must search. Red is my favorite color, and I love the white interior as it helps showcase my choice in the white colored Iphone.

Protection and Function

The magnetic clasp is at the same time easy to open and keeps the case closed when not in use. I have accidentally dropped my Iphone while standing, and everything was fully protected and stayed intact. I also enjoy how the flap opens from the bottom of the phone. This keeps the screen clear of any possible obstructions while allowing for a firm grip on both sides of the phone at all times. If you don't double the flap back under the phone it can look as if you are talking on an enormous phone, but it folds easily enough. All plug-in ports are perfectly clear and can be utilized with the phone in the case.

Cons

Not Quite True to Advertisement Color

As you can see in the pictures, the finish on the outside leather is patent, not matte as it appears in the Ebay picture. This didn't make a big difference to me, but it might to some, so ask a question or two of the seller to ensure you are getting the look you want. My husband bought a different case in a different style and did not have this issue.

Slight Camera Obscurity

There were slight obscurities around the corners of the image while attempting to take a photo when I first I bought the case, but leather is easily stretched and all I had to do was make the hole slightly wider with nothing but a pen.
