"Like a Boss" is a southern Rap Song by Slim Thug. One day, I searched for it on YouTube.com but didn't enter the name Slim Thug. I just had the phrase "Like a Boss" reiterated in my head repeatedly. So of course I wanted to hear it in real life. The first thing I saw come up was Seth Rogan's version of "Like a Boss" but it was about business. Here are 3 things I took away from Seth Rogan's insane version of "Like a boss."

Seth Rogan's "Like a Boss" Was Funny

I took the original version of "Like a Boss" very seriously. I thought "Like a Boss" was a good song with a catchy hook. Seth Rogan however, took "Like a Boss" to a whole new level. In the Seth Rogan version he is reviewing the job performance of the Boss. In Seth's "Like a Boss", the boss was more middle management than the boss. The challenge is to say, "Like a middle manager trying to utilize his power and authority to the best of his or her ability" does not have the same impact of "Like a Boss".

Seth Rogan's "Like a Boss" Had 22,000,000 Impressions

I watched Seth Rogan's "Like a Boss" and laughed for about 1 minute. Then I looked at the impression count and saw 22,000,000. I stopped laughing at Seth Rogan immediately. I started to do more research. Slim thug's original version of the song only got 1.4 million impressions. I was amazed at Seth Rogan's "Like a Boss" video success. Seth Rogan's like a boss had reach the success of Britney Spear, Beyonce, or Shakira on YouTube.com.

Seth Rogan's "Like a Boss" is an Inspiration

Seth Rogan is talented. I appreciate Seth and his team in the various movies he produces. I also appreciate some of his moves for the sincere nature of his acting. Seth Rogan does not come off, well "Like a Boss". Seth comes off as a lovable guy who has no idea what he is doing in front of the camera. In the move "Funny People" you can believe Seth when he is with Adam Sandler and he is in the mansion. Seth has the opportunity to be with a woman that Sandler set him up to enjoy. Seth lets the moment slip and is not surprised.

In real life, Seth has the beautiful Megan Fox ask him to stay on the late show with her to give her support. Seth, "Like a boss", had the opportunity to give Megan Fox a kiss on the cheek and wish her good luck for the interview. Seth thought this was his shot at greatness and figured when else would be able to plant on Megan Fox. However, like a regular guy Seth let the opportunity pass him by just as in the movie. This Seth Rogan is believable. Yet "Like a Boss" Seth Rogan is successful in Hollywood. Seth Rogan has found his niche to make millions of dollars and get millions of impressions. I applaud Seth Rogan for being "Like a Boss" but not losing the common touch.
