What are you talents? I am sure that everyone has a talent or two they just have to dig deep into their roots to find them. Once you know what your talents are, write them down in a list and keep this list handy since we will need it to help you in the beauty pageant. If for some reason you don't know what your talents are, ask someone who knows you well and they might suggest singing, dancing, doing tricks, or something else.
What are the most common talent activities in beauty pageants? There are many beauty pageants that have the same act playing over and over in the talent part of the beauty pageant. The most common talents are defiantly not something that you should have in mind since you want your talent to be unique. This is unless you can sing better than Brittany Spears or dance better than John Travolta.
What is the most unlikely talent that will be done at the beauty pageant? Look through your list of talents and choose a few items that are unlikely to be done in the talent competition. If it is unique then you will probably score more points from the judges.
What is your greatest talent? If you have been singing for years or dancing since before you could talk then you are probably comfortable doing this and will be comfortable performing this act in front of an audience. Depending on when the beauty pageant is, you may not have enough time to learn a talent or practice on one that you haven't already gotten accustomed too.
What are your weakest points? No matter what talent you are going to be performing in the beauty pageant you need to work on all of your weakest points. Improve yourself as much as possible and even hiring a coach may help you to perform better.
Always have a backup plan to your talent. Competitions can be fierce and some beauty pageants won't allow certain talents such as ones that are dangerous or include knifes or fire. Another thing that you might want to keep in mind is that many beauty pageants will only allow one competitor to sing a certain song so always make sure that you have something else lined up even if it is a second favorite song for you to sing.
