Improve Fertility with Whole Foods

Improving Infertility with Natural Foods

Lyn Vaccaro
For those that have been diagnosed with fertility problems, whether it's male infertility, or female infertility there's no doubt that there is a considerable amount of frustration and anger involved. In my alternative health experience, many times unexplained infertility has been diagnosed and they're left with no reason or direction to go in an attempt to solve this.

I've seen this issue taken on by my X husband, a certified nutritionist and was many times witness to the advice he would give regarding this subject. His first line of defense was to improve infertility with whole foods. Here were a few of his suggestions.

Whole Grains

Eating whole grains that have been as unprocessed as possible were always at the top of the list in regaining good fertility. Processed grains have been stripped of their outer bran structure and as a result have been stripped of a lot of the B vitamins. Those B vitamins are instrumental in nourishing the endocrine system (glandular system) that maintains the reproductive system. Making whole grains a large part of your new diet to improve your infertility from the ground up is paramount.

Raw Fruits and Veggies

Making raw foods a large part of your diet is one of the finest things you can do for your infertility. Raw foods cleanse the liver to help reduce biotoxins that are circulating throughout your entire body and that's important because that process is at work for your reproductive system as well, namely for women their eggs. It's essential for female eggs to be free of toxin as much as possible resulting in good quality and function.

Nuts and Seeds

Unprocessed, unheated nuts and seeds are a integral part of eating whole foods for improved fertility. They provide a large portion of the amino acids needed to comprise complete protein, without a lot of the saturated fat that comes from other protein sources like processed meats. Combining your nuts and seeds with whole grains will then complete your amino acid content and resulting in complete protein. This is a high quality way of achieving protein requirements as well as good quality fats that nuts and seeds provide as well.

Whole foods can be a key player in the journey to improve fertility whether male or female. At the very least it certainly won't work against your natural fertility in the way that processed foods can. Not only that, eating whole foods is complimentary to the body's design, resulting in a good supportive source for the reproductive system . Always strive for organic foods when possible for the optimum nutrient value as well.
