In between the lines, I hear other than what you say,
Instead of getting closer, I feel you drifting away.
The words you're speaking aren't the ones I hear,
The future you are seeking isn't very clear.
Instead of getting closer, I feel you drifting away.
The words you're speaking aren't the ones I hear,
The future you are seeking isn't very clear.
When you say you love me, it sounds like goodbye,
You used to make me laugh, but now you make me cry.
It seems like yesterday we had dreams for tomorrow, But the reality today is an appointment with sorrow.
If you feel different and change your point of view,
Do me a favor and bid me fond adieu.
You were my heart, and had no wandering eye,
After you've gone, I'll always wonder why.
In between the lines, your wings want to fly,
Into the waiting arms of some other guy.
Maybe I'm reading all the wrong signs,
But that's what I see, in between the lines.

Post a CommentSad poem. It is always hard to understand others and I often wonder if I misinterpret signs from others. I feel that if people really care they will make time for you. But when they stop making time for you do they still care? Or are they really busy and not aware of what they are doing.
