There she is sitting in front of me
Wearing a dream like a veil
So beautiful in every way
Emotions well
The wonder, the innocence
The blue of her eyes
Butterfly kisses
Big squishy hugs
All the questions
The curiosity and eagerness to help
When she smiles I am blinded by love
My beautiful daughter
My beautiful rose
Such a miracle to me
Time seems to pass by so quickly
Seasons fly by ever changing
Like her
Growing so fast
The excitement of each new day
Sunrise - Sunset
Look at all the stars
"I can't believe it Mommy - I'm starting second grade"
I see my reflection in her eyes
A mirror of time gone by
Eagerness to experience life
Fascination
Can I live up to her expectations
Always protecting
Am I good enough
Will I have all the answers
Are they right?
God, please let that love always shine in her eyes
