In My Daughter's Eyes

Charlotte Kuchinsky
In my daughter's eyes
The world's a wondrous land
Full of happiness and joy
Where all can risk to stand.

In my daughter's eyes
The sunlight shines always bright
And stars glow in unison
In the pale moonlight.

In my daughter's eyes
Hope is forever alive.
Nothing is impossible
When one dares to strive.

In my daughter's eyes
God's love reigns ever supreme.
Faith and acts of charity
Are more than a dream.

In my daughter's eyes
From the day that she was born
I vowed that I would love her;
Keep her safe and warm.

In my daughter's eyes
Each day I see a new light.
The world is a better place;
All is just and right.

From now till I die
Only one wish my heart cries.
See the truth of who I am
Through my daughter's eyes.

    We're so fortunate when we have a loved one so trusting, we get to see our reflection through the stars in their eyes. Beautifully expressed, Char.
