In Discussing Lessons, Teaching Clergy in Salem

As we are facing Sunday morning, we are thinking Clergy. The one thing we are looking forward to is the ability to have initiations and regular services again shared. For most of the last three months Don has done his rituals alone, occasionally with local help. His personal faith is definitely being tested, and his spiritual discipline pushed against being truly isolated as a human being. It is ironic and strangely divine in many ways. It seems to me he is gathering his spirits, both emotional, psychic, and of the other world.

One powerful aspect is that Don has altar pieces for well over a hundred gods and goddesses. Some are represented by antique dolls, sculpture, and images he has gathered. Many more are works of art from a few inches tall to a few feet, made ornate and beautiful, as statues and image surrogates for the gods and goddess themselves. These will be need to be ritually blessed, packaged, transported and then unpackaged, ritually blessed and once again blessed to space. This will be a lot of work on Don's part, and those who will help him set up the temple.

The Spirits Don works with have traveled with him since his youth and with his family for several generations. This move will be Don's second time in the Boston area, the first being in his teenage years when he went to Art School. Don has also been cultivating a greater relationship with Spirits for decades, and with people from all over the world. He has also been building gates and portals for Spirits to cross over, and to enter this plane as well.

So Don will be teaching Clergy, and since the very nature of the Salem calling will be working with Spirits, I expect to see a profound deepening in the nature of rituals Don does, teach and engage in on a daily basis. This will require those who seek to join and learn the Path of Wicca as taught by Don to learn a lot about Spirit Magick. This will be something that will be very life changing and affirming for everyone involved.

If Christian Day, Laurie Cabot, Teresa Pendragon and others have shared with us about the Spirit World of Salem is true, then what will happen when we begin to bring in our Crystal Web components? We have pieces that are meant to attract spirits, we have components that contain pieces of spiritual and psychic machinery, meant to increase the energy for mediums, psychics, and channellers, not just locally but globally. This core magickal machinery of the Crystal Web will find it's next home in the Witch City.

So back to boxing books, and seeing all those tiny figures watching me. Maybe I am being paranoid.
