A Clifford birthday party is an excellent idea for younger children or a child that loves the show Clifford the Big Red Dog. Creating the environment that you desire for your Clifford birthday party is only as difficult and expensive as you make it.

Making Invitations For a Clifford Birthday Party

To make invitations in the shape of a dog house for the Clifford birthday party, you need to make a triangle and a rectangle out of the chosen material for the invitations. Glue the triangle to the top of the rectangle, and there you have dog house shaped invitations for the party.

The same basic concept can be used to create Clifford birthday party invitations that are shaped like dog bones. Just draw the dog bone and cut it out. If you want the guests to be able to open the card, then fold the paper in half and draw the bone on one edge then cut it out so that it will hinge at the fold.

Another easy idea for Clifford birthday party invitations is to use your computer to print off images of Clifford and then fold them in half to create the invitation.

Then, use a toothpick to trace an outline of Clifford onto a frosted sheet cake. Fill in the details after removing the Clifford stencil and then frost in the appropriate colors when you are happy with the way it looks.

The other idea is to make a cake in the shape of a bone. One nine by thirteen sheet cake cut lengthwise in half with two large cupcakes on each end of the rectangle, and there you have a Clifford birthday party bone.

Clifford Birthday Party Food Ideas

Pigs in a blanket made with hot dogs. Half your hot dogs lengthwise, add a slice of cheese, and then wrap with a piece of refrigerated croissant dough. When you get enough done, bake them and you will be set.

Clifford Birthday Party Drink Ideas

Take an empty ice tray and put a cherry in each cube spot, then fill with water and freeze as normal. Put approximately one tablespoon of grenadine into each of the children's glasses and then add the ice cubes that were made.
